Indulge in the Art of you

Your Wedding Experience

Welcome to your wedding experience!

want to say congratulations on your engagement!  A wedding takes a lot of planning which includes time, patience, and even some creativity on your part.  What you need to keep in mind is that all the hard work will be worth it in the end.  You will have a beautiful day that you will remember and hold close to your heart for the rest of your lives.

When you work with Jill Most Photography you will learn that my goal is to capture all of the emotions of your wedding day.  After the long planning process, it is up to me to capture in images the beautiful bliss of your special day.  I’ll work tirelessly and passionately from the beginning of the day to the exit of the newlyweds at the end of the night.

Wedding photography should be considered an art.  This is something that I truly believe in.  As a photographer at a wedding I believe that I should be everywhere throughout the day without being seen or even being felt.  I like to have an invisible presence while capturing the moments of your special day.  Yes, wedding photography is an art and this practice is what makes it an art.

When you sit down and open up a wedding magazine there are many things that should make you say wow! Not only do a lot of my weddings make these amazing magazines, I want to have you featured in these beautiful pages as well.  The photographs that you see should capture many different aspects of a wedding day.  You should be able to see and feel the different emotions from the family members, be able to imagine the interactions of all of the guests just like you were mingling with them, and last but not least the wedding couple should have their most beautiful and memorable moments captured in photographs that will last forever.

It is my job to help you and your family remember every detail of your beautiful wedding day.  This day is one of the most special days of your lives together.  It is important that every blissful moment be captured in time.  This is why I am here.

It is my pleasure to be a part of your special day and I look forward to being the photographer at your wedding.

On your big day I will arrive at your wedding location much earlier and begin scouting the venue to take detail shots prior to the ceremony. As the day progresses I will ensure that I cover all the photographs planned on our timeline beginning from the couple getting dressed all the way to your final exit and everything in between. In the days following, I will edit photos, blog your session, post some teasers, and also upload your photos to an online gallery so that you can share them with your family and friends. I will also begin preparing any products you wish to order including albums, prints, wall art etc. It's truly our goal capture your wedding day memories in the best light possible so that you can cherish these moments for a long time to come!

Once we choose to work together on this amazing day in your life, I will begin by learning as much about you as possible.  First thing would be to schedule a meeting at a time that works for you best and/or we can do everything via email. I work with how you and your partner are comfortable and can fit in your busy schedule.  You can come over and visit me at my studio or we can meet at any suitable location of your choice.  This meeting will allow us to get to know each other. I love to meet my clients beforehand so we can both develop a great rapport before your special wedding day. As soon as I have a date fixed for your wedding day shoot, we can begin planning engagement and bridal sessions should you wish to do those. It's such an exciting time in your life and I want to make sure that I am able to learn about your photography needs and desires so that I can deliver the best memories for you to cherish for a lifetime!

Many people do not understand what a bridal session is.  This is a photo session that involves only the bride and takes place before the actual wedding day. A bridal session is not something that is required, it is completely up to you.  In the past, brides-to-be have shared with me that they were happy to have had this experience with a bridal session.  They were able to get some practice walking around in the wedding dress and go through the process of getting ready.  Some of these clients have discovered that an adjustment here or there is needed. It may be that the dress needs to be adjusted or even hair, make up or flowers need something changed.  This is a very laid back photo session.  Of course there is time to take photos by yourself when you are in your dress on your wedding day but it is not as relaxed and as leisurely as these sessions. If you are interested in a bridal session it is recommended that it be scheduled as soon as possible.  The more advance notice I have the better it is.  This is a photo session that should be scheduled at least six weeks prior to the actual wedding day.  If you would like to display a few of these pictures on the day of the wedding, we will need enough processing time to get these.

Being engaged is a very exciting experience and having an engagement session is the perfect way to celebrate this part of your life. Having an engagement session is the perfect type of practice before the wedding day.  As a photographer, I want the process to be as seamless as it can be.  Therefore, having this time for me to work with you and having you practice posing together is essential.  It will also give me an idea of your tastes. During an engagement session you will learn how to trust me.  My relationship with my clients is built on trust.  My clients will learn to see that I understand them and that this understanding will allow for me to make them look fantastic in their photographs.  This is exactly how the business of taking great photos works.

As for your wedding day we will get into the fine details the closer to the date we get. I am not a wedding planner but I can help you in those additional areas if you need anything such as referrals to other amazing wedding vendors. If you need help developing a timeline that includes specific photograph sequences, utilizing specific areas, etc., I can help you with these details. All of this goes into the communication we will have throughout the wedding journey I will have with you. This is imperative that I get all the details and can ensure I have all the information I need for the day of.

An engagement session is nothing but fun!  Having engagement photos taken is a perfect way to enjoy each other and get away from the stress of planning a wedding.  What is even better is that the photos from this session can be used for 'save the date' cards, guest books, and any other pre-wedding items that you may need or want.

In today's world of technology, we spend a large portion of our day glued to the computer, cell phone, television, etc.  This is why it is important that on your special day that everyone becomes unplugged so that the full attention can be on you as the bridge and groom.

You want to be sure that your guests will experience the day with you.  For this reason, you should ask them to turn off all of their devices.  For your guests to be truly present with you and participate in your special day it is essential that they unplug and relate to you.

You and your spouse-to-be have dedicated a lot of time, effort, and patience into making your wedding day very special.  You do not want the pictures that your photographer takes of your guests at your wedding to be ones with their heads down and looking at their devices.  That would make for poor images.

Everyone loves their smartphones and have addictions to them as well.  That does not exclude us.  We too believe that the best thing that can be done to make your day special is to unplug and turn off our devices and enjoy the present moment.
